Our summer training and flying camp runs next Monday 7/18 thru Friday 7/22.

Our summer training and flying camp runs next Monday 7/18 thru Friday 7/22.  We're usually pretty loose about scheduling during these events, but please sign up some where to indicate interest.

There will be a ground school offered each evening to help students get ready for the FAA Knowledge Tests for PPG and Comm.  Figure on starting ground school between 5:00 - 6:00, depending upon the flying, and running for 1.5 - 2.0 hrs each evening.  Ground School kicks off Sunday evening and a different topic will be discussed every evening thru Friday.  Students should have a copy of the Glider Flying handbook or the Joy of Soaring, a copy of the FAR/AIM, a Cheyenne sectional, plotter, flight computer, etc.
